The tech law advisory firm, EndCode, provides technical support to AfricTivistes, by conducting pro-bono monthly analyses of laws on cybersecurity, data protection in relation to human rights and freedoms in Africa. These analyses are freely available on the africtivistes.org website. Through such a partnership, AfricTivistes and EndCode are helping to raise public awareness on the pros and cons of laws on cybersecurity, data protection and human rights in the cyberspace. The Law Decoder recommendations provided through the analyses also helps to inform authorities of the improvements needed while providing engaged citizens and civil society organisations with arguments to use in their advocacy and dialogue with authorities and other stakeholders (service providers, data protection commissions, …).
